The homestays are named after Bannockburn because of the surrounding street names, Stirling Street, (Battle at Stirling Bridge where William Wallace defeated the English and so started the fight to free Scotland. Bruce Street (Robert Bruce who won against the English army at Bannockburn) and Burns Street, (Robert Burns, famous Scottish poet). We are situated on the Caledonia Estate in East Toowoomba.
