At Bannockburn Home-stays we are focused on providing  our guests  with the highest levels of customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.

 Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.  We named our home-stays Bannockburn because of the surrounding street names, Stirling Street, (Battle at Stirling Bridge where William Wallace defeated the English and so started the fight to free Scotland.  Bruce Street (Robert Bruce who won against the English army at Bannockburn) and Burns Street, (Robert Burns, famous Scottish poet).  We are situated on the Caledonia Estate in East Toowoomba.


We have visited Robert the Bruce's cave and Bannockburn many times.  The history is fascinating.  

 

At the battle of Bannockburn in June 1314, Robert the Bruce defeated the English Army under King Edward II, confirming the re-establishment of an independent Scottish Monarchy.  He became King of Scots
